San Francisco Chinatown is one of the oldest Chinatown and largest in the world outside of China. This is the most densely populated area of San Francisco. Many new and old Chinese immigrants reside here. It is the most culturally rich part of San Francisco. Tourists can see Oriental structures, authentic Chinese culture and taste many different Chinese foods here.Through this Gateway will lead tourists from all over the world to the San Francisco Chinatown.

San Francisco view of the Palace of Fine Arts.
Palace of Fine Arts is the only building still standing from the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. It is a magnificent structure built in that era. Many new couples come here for their wedding pictures. My wife and I had our wedding picture here too.One of the inside corner roof of the Palace of Fine Arts.

San Francisco view of the Stockton Street Tunnel.
The Stockton Street Tunnel cuts through the hill connecting downtown and Chinatown. This is the downtown side of the tunnel.
San Francisco Chinatown begins where the light at the end of the tunnel. It is about 4 city blocks long. Pedestrian walkways are on each side of the tunnel. It is a good 5 minutes walk. We use to run through the tunnel when we were kids.
